    @ mikerubino: it’s only a “fad” if it’s forced upon trainees who do not have sufficient strength and skill to safely enjoy and benefit from the movements.

    I’m not sure why such exercises are shown in combination with the balance board instead of just adding more weight, but then I remembered the eternal wisdom of Spinal tap.

    Nigel Tufnel: “These amps all go to eleven.” [Translation: These exercises are all done on a balance thingy]

    Marty DiBergi: “Why don’t you just make ten louder [add more weight]?”

    Other than the fact that some of that shit is insanely dangerous….

    Its also cool as shit. One of the cooler CrossFit videos I have seen, awesome displays of strength and coordination.
