@maquahuitl it doesnt help swim times, weights of any kind have little benefit to swimming

Crossfit… Crossfit’s like a lot of stuff. Want to get all the girls pregnant, want to herd all the guys onto a bus and push it off a cliff.

  3. NoisyPC on May 2nd, 2010 9:02 pm

    Crossfit is for girls.

  4. deltafoverdeltax on May 2nd, 2010 9:04 pm

There’s a statistically significant proportion of women to men in this video.

Nice footage of the deadlift, but would someone please shut that man up? Yes, we know deadlifts are good, people have done them for years. Who the hell are you, the fucking Shamwow guy? Thank you for putting so much work into selling an exercise that has been done for 50 years, I forgot that you invented it. Honestly…

    @skunkbutt1 Thanks =D

  7. skunkbutt1 on May 2nd, 2010 10:35 pm

definitely i checked out a pic of them on google, those’ll work perfect.

  8. MrZenic on May 2nd, 2010 10:47 pm

@skunkbutt1 would it be better for me to use ‘street soccer’/'futsal’ shoes rather than running shoes?

  9. skunkbutt1 on May 2nd, 2010 10:55 pm

i understand that but the best way to go about that is to use a flat sole, chuck taylors are the perfect example. this gives you the best support asides from doing the lift barefoot. doing a compound lift in running shoes is similar to doing the lift on a mattress

improve swim times? Did i hear correctly? I will tell my wife about this, she wants to get better timing in her swimming.

proper training shoes helps your feet, knees, and most joints throughout the body, it displaces the weight properly and what not..

  12. skunkbutt1 on May 3rd, 2010 12:06 am

why are most of these pretty fine and/or jacked chicks wearing running shoes?

  13. cyberkai99 on May 3rd, 2010 12:14 am

It’s a stiff legged deadlift, not a straight legged deadlift. There is a difference. The only requirement for the stiff legged deadlift is that the legs remain in the same position as you started the movement and end the same way.

  15. nirvanafan833 on May 3rd, 2010 12:37 am

you haven’t been looking in the right places then

  16. nirvanafan833 on May 3rd, 2010 1:12 am

spine should be kept in neutral. head isn’t supposed to move, don’t keep trying to look at one point.

  17. BlazinBobs on May 3rd, 2010 1:56 am

haha hot and strong, she can protect you at night and keep you warm at the same time =p

  18. tempac91 on May 3rd, 2010 2:43 am

The girls at the start are lovely. :-D

  19. ceeIoc on May 3rd, 2010 3:07 am

No she’s not. A stiff legged deadlift doesn’t bend at the knees.

  20. ericarmstrong1 on May 3rd, 2010 3:16 am

Really excellent video. Do you have one showing Sumo style?

  21. ElPorteroBestia on May 3rd, 2010 4:11 am

Because it’s Crossfit. These guys are fucking faggots who suck each others’ dicks before and after workouts.

You want to go watch a real deadlift, search, “Konstantin Konstantinovs”. THAT is a real deadlift. This is not.

  22. DrmrGuy1979 on May 3rd, 2010 4:21 am
